Precious Water Photography Exhibit
A photographic display is being organized for November 19 and 20, 2021 at the Athabasca Train Station. We are accepting photos from local photographers for submission to the show. We are seeking images that capture the unique qualities of water. For example: the way it falls from the sky; catches the light; sustains or threatens plant, animal, and human life; how it moves through the land; how it changes its form. The interpretation is yours to capture. Since this is a community involvement event and not a “curated” photography event, we are hoping to use all submissions depending upon how many are received from participating photographers and venue space. This event is open to all local photographers so pass the word on! The photos provided will not need to be framed or matted. They will be hung free form at the venue and you may place a price on them for sale with no commission taken by event organizers. We will be asking for photos no smaller than 8 x 10 inches or 10 x 10 square. If you are interested in participating, please send your confirmation to Sherry Richardson at firstname.lastname@example.org before September 14, 2021 and and more specific information will be provided to you regarding your submission details. For more information about this opportunity please call 780-675-2735.
